      语言与文化是相辅相成、相互联系的,英语作为目前第二大应用广泛的语言,其背后蕴含了很大的文化价值。加强英语文化教学,就是为了让学生真正懂得英语,不仅要会讲英语,还要明白其背后蕴含的文化。调查研究发现,目前初中英语教学存在诸多问题,多数学生对于英语的文化课教学存在不正确或消极的认识,导致中学英语文化课教学效果不显著。文章在系列问卷调查基础上,分析了中学生对英语文化课教学的态度以及内在成因,并结合目前中学英语文化课的教学现状,对如何解决教学存在的问题等进行研究。

      Language and culture exist mutually and complementally. English, as the second most widely used language, contains a great deal of cultural value. To strengthen English culture teaching is to enable students to truly understand English, which means that students can not only speak English, but also understand the culture behind it. But according to the investigation, at present, some problems exist in the English teaching in junior middle schools. The majority of junior school students hold incorrect and negative attitude towards English culture teaching, which has led to unapparent effect of English culture courses in middle school. According to a series of questionnaires, the article analyzes students’ attitudes towards English culture teaching and its internal causes. Combined with the current teaching situation of English culture courses, it provides guidance to solve the problems existing in teaching.
