      学校的发展已经经历了两代,古代的学校为第一代,近现代的主流学校为第二代。第二代学校存在的主要问题如下:教学质量总的来说较低;学生学习不快乐;教师和学生负担沉重。目前,学校正在向第三代转变,转变的主要基础有三个方面的变化:中国的“素质教育”观念的形成与发展;国内外的“学习共同体”观念、理论与实践的发展;人们日益关注学校教育与广阔生活的融通。第三代学校应该具备如下基本特征:以创造优质生活为总图景;以发展学校成员的素质为核心使命;以学习为中心活动;学校教育高度个性化。
英文摘要:
      The development of schools has gone through two eras: the schools in ancient times belonged to the first-era schools, and the mainstream schools in modern times belong to the second-era schools. The main problems of the second-era schools include: overall, instructional quality is low; the students’ learning is unhappy; the teachers and students are too heavily burdened. Now, schools are turning to the third-era, and the main bases of transformation include three changes: the formation and development of “quality education” idea in China; the development of the idea, theory and practice of “learning community” idea at home and abroad; people concern about circulation between schooling and broad life more and more. The third-era schools should possess the following basic features: to take creating high-quality life as overall prospect; to take develop the quality of school members as core mission; to take learning as central activity; the schooling to be highly individualized.
