      课外补习作为提升学业成绩的辅助教育形式,得到越来越多的家长和学生认可。实证研究结果显示:学生所处教育阶段、学习成绩、家庭经济收入、对孩子学习的满意度以及教育期望、学校教学质量和就读班级特征,都是影响城市初中生参与课外补习的显著因素;经济收入、对孩子学习的满意度以及教育期望、学校教学质量都对课外补习支出有显著影响;家庭经济收入、对子女的教育期望、课程重要性和难易程度显著影响补习班级的选择;学校教学质量、就读班级特征、任课教师特征、课外补习强度都是影响补习学生学业成绩进步的显著变量。
英文摘要:
      As an assistant education form of improving the academic performance, the private tutoring has been accepted by more and more parents and students. The results of empirical study show that the students’ education stage, academic performance, family economic income, satisfaction with the children’s learning and educational expectation, the quality of school teaching and the characteristics of the class are the significant factors which affect urban junior middle school students to participate in tutoring. Economic income, satisfaction with the children’s learning and education expectation, the quality of school teaching has a significant impact on the spending of private tutoring. Family economic income and educational expectations of their children, the importance and difficulty of curriculum impact on the choice of the tutorial class. Quality of school education, and the features of classroom, characteristics of the teacher, and the strength of extracurricular tutoring are the significant variables to effect academic progress of students.
