      《教育杂志》刊行近40年,为我国近代教育事业的发展做出了巨大贡献。其创刊于教育改革、学校和学生人数激增的背景之下,强大的人才队伍与商务印书馆的物质基础是其发展的源泉,尊重读者需求、与时俱进求发展、栏目和内容丰富且可读性强、注重宣传与发行等亦是其得以长足发展的重要因素。当代教育期刊可以借鉴《教育杂志》的经验,结合时代与新媒体发展的新要求,栏目内容须适应教育改革与学校、学生发展需要;注重编辑人员素质,维护好作者群体;满足读者的多样化需求;实现教育期刊与教科书、教育类著作协同出版与发展;融合使用传统手段与新媒体技术,加强宣传与传播力度,从而使教育期刊实现高品质、持续性发展。
英文摘要:
      The Education Magazine had been published for nearly 40 years and made great contributions to the development of modern education in China. It was founded under the background of educational reform and with a surge in the number of schools and students; it had a strong talent team and the material foundation of the Commercial Press for its publishing, which became the source of its development; and its long-time development also lay in such important factors as its respect for the needs of readers, its drive for its own development to keep pace with the times, rich content in its columns with strong readability, and its emphasis on publicity and distribution. Contemporary educational journals can learn from the experience of The Education Magazine, and take the following suggestions to achieve the high-quality and sustainable development: to follow the new requirements of the times and the development of new media, to adapt the content of the columns for the needs of education reform and the development of schools and students, to focus on the quality of editing staff and protect the interests of authors, to meet the various needs of readers, to have the collaborative publication and development with other educational journals, textbooks, and educational works, and to combine traditional means and new media technologies to strengthen publicity and distribution.
